Sunshine
Remember that we are amazing products of nature and
the sun plays a very important role in how nature works. Lives without sunshine could be
problematic. One needs to have certain
exposure to the outside environment. For
example, Morning sunshine helps cleanse the soul and moderate the body’s
biological clock. Also, sunlight is
known to trigger the production of vitamin D in the body; it is known that
lower blood levels of vitamin D might be related to a higher chance of prostate
cancer and colorectal cancer. In addition, there are several other beneficial
effects from sunshine and we don’t need to say too much here.
Therefore, it is a good idea to spend some time under
the sun during the day; I cannot emphasize enough that human is born to be
compatible with nature and sunshine is a vital factor of nature. However, too much sunshine could mean too
much exposure of UV radiation; as you may know, UV radiation could damage the
skin and might increase the risk factor of skin cancer.
Also, use sunscreen products if you need to be under
the sun for a long period of time. Every
sunscreen product has an SPF number on it.
What is SPF? SPF is an
abbreviation of Sun Protection Factor and it represents the ability of the
sunscreen to block ultraviolet B (UVB) rays, but not UVA rays. Both UVB and UVA contribute to the risk
factor of skin cancer.
